Founded in 2009, the company has been focusing on the R&D, manufacturing and sales of lithium battery production equipment; it is a leading domestic supplier of new energy battery production equipment such as lamination machines, liquid injection machines and winding machines. It owns several holding subsidiaries, including: Shenzhen Wonder Automation Technology Co., Ltd. (specializing in the production of lithium battery winding equipment), Shenzhen Leader Technology Co., Ltd. (specializing in the production of lithium battery liquid injection equipment), and Anhui Greensun Technology Co., Ltd. (an IT enterprise focusing on information system integration and technical services for lithium battery manufacturing), etc.

Steady steps for sustainable development
China has accomplished the industrialization process that took developed countries several hundred years in just three to four decades, creating a world-renowned development miracle. This miracle is attributed to the unremitting efforts and pragmatic pursuit of advancement of countless Chinese industrial manufacturing enterprises, with Greensun being one of the representatives.
After more than a decade of hard work, pioneering and forging ahead, the company has not only grown and expanded but also produced a series of equipment. These products have empowered China's industrial intelligent manufacturing and contributed to the leapfrog and rapid development of China's new energy lithium battery manufacturing, enabling it to stand proudly among the world's leading ranks.
When talking about the company's development process, Chairman Lu Shuli frankly stated, "The company's development has always been stable and steady. It has continuously explored and accumulated experience during its growth. Looking back on our development history, it is a process of focusing on new energy-related fields, persisting in R&D of high-end equipment, constantly exploring our own limits, surpassing ourselves, and striving for excellence in product performance, customer service and other areas."

From 2010 to 2012, the company's first foray into technological R&D was a resounding success. Once the first lamination equipment developed and manufactured was launched, its manufacturing speed ranked among domestic leaders, earning high praise from customers and establishing a solid reputation for the company's product brand.
From 2013 to 2015, the production speed of all lamination machine series developed and manufactured by the company exceeded the 1-second mark. This kicked off the company's "blazing spree" of continuous breakthroughs in technological R&D. Starting with the successful development of the 1-second high-speed lamination machine (which laid the foundation for breaking the 1-second barrier in equipment manufacturing speed), followed by the successive R&D successes of the 0.5-second high-speed dual-station lamination machine and the 0.55-second dual-station bag-making and lamination integrated machine—both of which were put on the market and achieved stable production—this marked the dawn of an era where equipment manufacturing speed was under 1 second.
Meanwhile, the company's fully automatic bag-making and lamination integrated machine was also successfully put into production, marking that the entire series of equipment had fully achieved intelligent manufacturing and further expanded the company's technological advantages in equipment manufacturing.

From 2016 to 2017, the company was awarded the High-Tech Enterprise Certificate. This honor stems from the superior technology and comprehensive performance of the company's equipment, which also drove steady growth in lamination equipment sales, totaling 380 million yuan. Notably, the cutting-lamination integrated machine was successfully developed—with an efficiency of 3 pieces per second—and put into mass production, marking a leapfrog advancement in the company's equipment technology.
From 2019 to 2022, the company received multiple rounds of financing with state-owned capital backing. The abundant funds continuously strengthened the company's capacity to break through equipment technology limits, enabling it to remain a front-runner: staying ahead of predecessors and fearing no newcomers. In the same year, the company was awarded the title of national-level "Little Giant" enterprise (specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and novel).
Lu Shuli stated, "Although we have now become a leading enterprise in the domestic lithium battery equipment lamination machine field, capable of building a complete industrial matrix, we will never grow arrogant, slack, or complacent. For we firmly believe that only by pursuing self-transcendence can we break through limits and remain a front-runner."
Grasping the opportunity: Output value grows against the trend
"Amid the booming development of the lithium battery industry, the lamination machine market has opened a new landscape. Even under the impact of the epidemic, we achieved growth against the trend, with annual product sales increasing significantly," Lu Shuli said happily.
It is understood that Greensun has developed a product portfolio with independent intellectual property rights, including lamination, winding, and liquid injection equipment, with business covering both domestic and foreign markets. As the only domestic equipment manufacturer capable of achieving a 0.6-second cycle for a single 590mm-long battery cell, Greensun's lamination machines have led domestic market share for years; its liquid injection machines rank among the top three in the industry, and its winding machines are also at the industry forefront.
Currently, the company has multiple R&D and production bases in Shenzhen, Jiangmen, Wuhan, Hefei, etc. It possesses core technologies for lithium battery manufacturing equipment such as lamination machines, winding machines, liquid injection machines, and logistics lines, achieving full coverage of square, cylindrical, and soft-pack batteries. It offers comprehensive industrialization solutions for individual lithium battery equipment, as well as mid-process fully automated equipment solutions and whole-line design solutions, meeting the diverse needs of downstream customers.
The company is now a major supplier to leading battery enterprises such as BYD, CATL, CALB, SVOLT Energy, Zhuhai CosMX, and Farasis Energy, and has earned high recognition from renowned Japanese companies like Panasonic and Toshiba.
R&D innovation: Continuous self-transcendence
Lu Shuli told reporters frankly, "Greensun started by imitating foreign equipment but quickly shifted to independent R&D, developing its flagship product—the lamination machine." He noted that lamination machines are critical to the lithium battery industry. When Greensun was founded, the industry standard speed for such machines was around 2 seconds per piece. Through targeted technological breakthroughs, the company reduced this to 1.2 seconds per piece, then broke the 1-second barrier. Today, it has entered the high-speed era of 0.45 seconds per piece—world-leading performance. In terms of equipment technology advancement, Greensun truly "leads consistently, never being surpassed."
In Chairman Lu Shuli's view, Greensun's rapid and steady technological progress owes entirely to its strong R&D team. It is reported that the company invests over 50 million yuan in R&D annually, with R&D personnel accounting for 30% of its staff. It boasts a doctoral R&D team with core members from Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Tianjin University, focusing on digital technologies for lithium battery equipment.

Due to the company's strong emphasis on R&D and innovation, as of now, it has obtained 249 intellectual property authorizations, including utility model patents, software copyrights, invention patents, and international PCT applications. It possesses many core leading technologies with independent intellectual property rights and has participated in formulating four national standards, such as "Digital Simulation of Mechanical Product Manufacturing Processes".
When talking about the enterprise's future development, Lu Shuli said with slight excitement, "General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that on the new journey toward national rejuvenation, there will inevitably be arduous tasks, as well as difficulties, obstacles, and even stormy seas. Reporter: What are Greensun's achievements in industrial digitization?
Lu Shuli: The company has a dedicated software R&D team and the capability to collect and analyze data throughout the entire process from battery cells to modules, providing strong support for customers' digital management. It can be said that the company is a key contributor to building unmanned factories and digital production. Meanwhile, since non-standard industrial equipment can only be assembled manually—requiring a high level of proficiency from workers—through research on digital unit management of equipment, we have significantly improved workers' assembly efficiency.
Reporter: What are your thoughts on Longhua's business environment?
Lu Shuli: Longhua's overall business environment is excellent. In particular, relevant departments of the Longhua District Government actively provide "policy door-to-door" services. After welfare policies are introduced, they take the initiative to contact us to explain the policies; once the conditions are met, they assist us in organizing and submitting relevant materials for applications. The service is very thoughtful, helping us not only enjoy various benefits but also significantly reduce time costs.
